About Melissa

The beekeeping workshop "Melissa" was first established in Kefalos, Kos in 2009.
 

It belongs to the Drossos family which has been active in this field for a century.
 

We produce and bottle our own aromatic honey following the traditional method of honey production and attending to the latest technology in the standardization of the product.

Our objective is to offer both the consumer and our own children the nutritious honey of Kos island. Honey 'Melissa' is the result of the harmonious blend of the old and the new; it is the experience and knowledge of the grandfather, passed on to the son and passed on by the grandson...

In our workshop we produce a variety of Honey products like Thyme Honey, Pine Honey and Heather Honey. We also produce candles made of natural bees wax and the well known for its beneficial properties, bees wax cream.
